As of January 1, 2008, Argantis acquired a majority of the family-owned W.I.S. group as part of a MBO. Next to management, some of the former shareholders rolled over their interest in the company and support the further growth of the group.

SWIS offers security services, security technology as well as cleaning services throughout Germany. As #4 in the German Security Services market and one of the oldest companies in it’s industry, WIS is a re-known brand, which stands for quality and reliability.

WIS has ca. 4.500 employees in 16 branches in Germany and generated ca. Euro 117m turnover in 2007/08.
