Argantis pursues a fundamental principle of investing the capital from its fund only following sound and thoroughgoing analysis of companies. Similarly, Argantis executives put their own money into each firm that is added to the portfolio in order to assure an identity of interests.

Furthermore, Argantis takes the view that

  • professional investments can be assured only by applying and maintaining professional standards
  • a respect for existing corporate structures and identities is an essential prerequisite
  • open communication is the foundation underpinning all actions
  • the investment process and partnership must be characterized by mutual trust and fairness
  • transactions have to be individually geared to the financial, legal and tax requirements of all parties involved
  • the management running the company must has to participate in the equity structure (incentivizing to leverage business success)
  • the financial partner must be able to provide not only capital but also dedicated skills and industrial experience
  • an identity of interests between all parties involved is absolutely crucial
